Our Accommodation alternatives
Welcome to any of our two houses in Hallforsen! We offer first class houses in swedish country style and atmosphere.
Our accomodations are situated out in the country with the nature close to the houses. As neighbours you have fields, meadows, forest and both domestic and wild animals. Pick berries for breakfast, swim in the lakes, take a “forestswim”, catch the fish for lunch…..Big gardens with a lot of space where there are also special barbeque places. Both of the houses have big terraces where you can enjoy the nature, the view and the calmness.
Kärshult
Kärshult Sörgården, 335 72, Hestra
Are you looking for a unique accommodation with a genuine old-fashioned country atmosphere, and where you can really feel the wings of history? Then you should rent our house Kärshult!
The house is located on an old farm with a barn and other farm houses. Around the garden there are pastures where cows and calves graze. A real old cultural monument that brings to mind Lönneberga and Bullerbyn.
The small road to the house continues as a forest road for 9 km and along that loop there are several forest lakes with boats where you can fish. Perfect for cycling, walking, and not least berry and mushroom picking.
Our farm Hallforsen is 1 km away.
The house is an old log house from 1840. When we renovated it in 2011, we tried to preserve as much of the old feel as possible, with slanted and soap-scrubbed floors, original doors, fireplace, oven, etc. Despite the old style, everything is completely modern.
The house is 160 m2 and contains a fully equipped kitchen with all amenities, large living room with fireplace, hall, bathroom with bathtub, three bedrooms with seven beds, one of which has a fireplace. (Washing machine is in the bathroom). Terrace with garden furniture, barbecue area and sandbox.
Styrshultaviken

A little gem just a stone’s throw from the lake is our little house in Styrshultaviken. Here you live secluded in the deepest part of the bay, right by the water.
An accommodation for those of you who are not that many. Stengårdshultasjön is a wonderfully beautiful lake with 17 islands and here you live by a small bay of it. Quiet location with natural plot. Just go outside the door and pick the blueberries or lingonberries for breakfast, or the chanterelles for the evening sandwich! Or take out the fishing rod and prepare the dinner.
The house is 75 m2, and contains a lovely glazed conservatory with a wood stove and a view towards the lake. Living room with sofa and armchairs, small kitchen but still fully equipped. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed and a bunk bed. So five beds. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is an extra fridge/freezer in the outhouse and also a drying cabinet.
